McCann projects shortlisted for RICS Social Impact Awards 202012th March 2020

McCann and Partners would like to wish big congratulations to the teams behind three of its MEP design projects, which have all been shortlisted for the RICS Social Impact Awards 2020.

Canolfan S4C Yr Egin, the home of S4C broadcasting in Carmarthen, has been shortlisted for the Infrastructure award as well as Land and Rural, while Capital Quarter in Cardiff is nominated for the Commercial category as well as Land and Rural alongside Yr Egin.

Lastly, Croesyceiliog Comprehensive School in Cwmbran, which was regenerated throughout 2019, has been shortlisted for the Education award at the Social Impact Awards.

McCann and Partners are delighted to have provided the MEP design for all three shortlisted projects, as well as the BREEAM assessment for both Croesyceiliog and Capital Quarter.

The regional RICS ceremony will be held on the 22nd April in Newport ICC and the winning projects will then go on to be shortlisted for the national awards, which holds its grand ceremony in London later in the year.

We’ve got our fingers crossed for the teams at Yr Egin, Capital Quarter and Croesy School and we hope to see them getting the recognition these fantastic projects deserve.
