Ryan Watt and Shajeer Kallai have joined the Mechanical Engineering team at McCann and Partners
We would like to welcome Ryan Watt to McCann and Partners, in his new role as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our Cardiff office.
Originally from Bristol, Ryan has relocated to South Wales where he and his family are currently renovating a farmhouse – with plans to turn it into a smallholding in future.
A chartered mechanical engineer with over 17 years of experience, Ryan has delivered projects ranging from bespoke homes to large MOD sites. He holds a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Building Services and Business Management.
In recent years, Ryan has worked as a self-employed M&E consultant, providing design services for residential, community, and conservation projects.
Speaking about his new role, Ryan said: “I joined McCann and Partners to be part of a forward-thinking team, where I can further expand my knowledge and career, while also supporting the development of others.”
Rhys Silcox said: “Ryan has a wealth of experience and will be a great asset to our Mechanical Engineering team. We are thrilled to have him join our Cardiff office and look forward to working with him.”
We also welcome Shajeer Kallai, who recently relocated from London to Cardiff to take up the position as Mechanical Engineer at McCann and Partners.
Originally from southern India, Shajeer completed his MSc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of East London. Previously, he worked at design, engineering, environment and regulatory consultancy Sweco UK.
With hobbies including travelling and cooking, Shajeer enjoys discovering new destinations and trying out unique dishes from different cultures.
Speaking on his move to McCann and Partners, Shajeer said: “Relocating from London to Cardiff initially seemed challenging, but the transition became smooth once the journey began. The support of my colleagues made the adjustment easier. I am confident in my role and am eager to contribute further to both the company and its sustainable development initiatives.”
Rhys Silcox said: “Shajeer demonstrates a passion for environmental and sustainable initiatives, and we are excited to see his input on our upcoming projects.”
