Well done to Sara Jenkins, Claudia Milza-Wyatt and Samuel Morris for tackling Llamau’s Muddy Assault course in Porthcawl.
The McCann and Partners team faced the outdoor challenge with lots of enthusiasm and put in a sterling effort on over 20 challenging obstacles including tyre runs, tyre maze, monkey bars and muddy crawls.
At Llamau, they believe that no young person or woman should ever have to experience homelessness. But for thousands of the most vulnerable people in Wales, homelessness is a frightening reality.
Over the past 35 years they supported over 80,000 young people, women and their families to leave homelessness behind. But with increasing pressure on our services and continued funding cuts across Wales, they need more support to raise vital funds.
As our partnered charity this year, our Muddy Assault team were happy to take on the challenge.
Team captain Hayley Barratt-Bentley was unable to take part due to a chest infection but hopes to continue to raise funds for Llamau with various fund-raising events at Mccann throughout the year.
She said: “I’m very proud of the team. For anyone still wishing to donate our JustGiving page will be staying open for a while so whatever people can give we are truly grateful and it will all be going to a great cause.”
