At midday on Sunday the 21st of October, McCann and Partners took on the Cyclone24 challenge at the Geraint Thomas Velodrome, Newport.

A team consisting of Justin Thomas, Rhys Silcox, Graham Carr, and Will Jones - all of McCann and Partners, along with Geoff Carter of Cambria and Lea Watkins of Stride Treglown took part in the 24 hour cycling challenge.

For those who aren't familar with Cyclone24, it's the UK's only 24 hour velodrome challenge event series. During a day-long cycling endurance challenge, teams battle physical exhaustion and mental fatigue as they take to the track in rotation to relay cycle non-stop as the clock counts down.

At midday on Monday 22nd October, after 24 hours of continuous pedalling and very little sleep, the McCann and Partners team finished a respectable 12th place out of 22 teams.

In total, £945 was raised for our chosen charity The Wallich, exceeding the initial £600 target.  We are so pleased that this brings us another step closer to our £10,000 target.

Thank you to all who supported us and we look forward to seeing you shortly at our charity quiz night on the 2nd of November.
