The university climbed six spots this year and is now the top ranked in Wales, overtaking Cardiff University and making the Top 30 for the first time since the Good University Guide was founded in 1993.
Swansea University is also runner-up for the overall UK University of the Year title, and won the Welsh University of the Year for the second time in three years, cementing its position as Wales’ leading higher education institution.
The 65 acre Bay Campus opened in 2015 and McCann and Partners are delighted to have provided the MEP design for the Bay Library, Engineering East, Great Hall, Institute of Structural Materials, School of Management, student accommodation, and Impact Building.
It really is a privilege to have been involved on such a fantastic scheme, which has been the catalyst for expansion at Swansea University.
