Every four years, the BRE Group publishes a new BREEAM scheme to align with Building Regulations and legislation.
What is BREEAM?
BREEAM is the world's leading sustainability assessment method for master planning projects, infrastructure and buildings. It recognises and reflects the value in higher performing assets across the built environment lifecycle, from new construction to in-use and refurbishment and fit-out.
BREEAM 2018 was launched on the 7th March 2018 and the last day for BREEAM 2014 registrations was the 23rd March.
Although there are changes throughout the scheme, the main amendments fall under Energy, Materials and Ecology.
